Author Bio

From an early age, Patrick Jean-Paul has been writing on a daily basis. He currently works as a solutions architect in technology at various companies. In this role, he performs analyses, organizes presentations and training, and delivers talks. Though these experiences keep him writing and have made him an expert in presenting ideas, the desire to write fiction has motivated him to spend most of his free time writing as well. Patrick Jean-Paul has spent the last three years writing and publishing his first book trilogy and honing his crafts as an author and literary entrepreneur by taking a variety of courses.

He began writing short stories at a very early age. These short stories were written for different genres, which provides him with an extensive writing repertoire. In his mid-twenties, he began writing screenplays, which continues today. His latest screenplay is a comedy that takes place when Wall Street meets The Hangover. Jean-Paul has written six screenplays, ranging from action and drama to comedy.

To help him hone his craft, he has attended creative writing and screenwriting courses, including “Rebecca Hamilton’s Author Boot Camp,” “FloDesk For Authors,” “Roadmap to Writing Success,” and “30 Day Social Media Challenge.” Patrick Jean-Paul has taken “the Best Entrepreneur Solutions” course on marketing with an emphasis on Facebook advertising and also has a pending course on “Amazon advertising” in July of 2020.

He is a member of many online forums and groups for authors. The mediums are used to communicate with other authors to develop personal and professional relationships with them. The members of these forums are a support group for authors, providing inspiration, motivation, and promotional opportunities.

His first publication, entitled “The Burning Trilogy,” is a set of books in the young adult genre. Two of the titles in the trilogy are self-published and are currently available. The third book is completed and is expected to be available for purchase in late September 2020. Patrick Jean-Paul managed every aspect of this trilogy himself, from its inception to publishing on the various platforms. Now that he understands the publishing process, he’s looking for a new challenge and wants to publish his next books through the traditional publishing channels.
